Eye Health

It is not only important to receive an eye exam to improve your vision but also beneficial to learn about eye health. During your comprehensive eye exam, the doctors will go over the health of your entire eye. It is important to follow up with eye health so that any issues can be addressed immediately. We use the latest technology to capture images of the front and back of your eye, most of the time eliminating the need for dilation. Clarifye technology captures a digital "fingerprint" of the eye so that you can receive a unique care experience from the doctor.

The doctors will also do their best to treat any discomfort or issues you may have. Feel free to book an appointment with us if you feel you are having any issues with your eyes, and the doctors will treat you accordingly.

Contact lenses are an important aspect of vision that we understand is vital in some of our patients' lives. We offer appointments for new and current wearers of contact lenses.

We offer both examinations for contact lenses as well as a variety of contacts available for purchase. If the brand you are prescribed is not in stock, we will be happy to order them to the office or ship them home for you.

Introducing Clarifye

Using the latest technology, Clarifye is able to provide a clearer, more precise visual experience for you. This digitial eyecare technology is included in every comprehensive eye exam so that each of our patients have a more complete and thorough examination.

With Clarifye, the doctor will be able to show you a digital map of your entire eye that is five times more precise than before. The comprehensive exam is streamlined to allow for you to have a more relaxing, less stressful experience. The goal of Clarifye is to eliminate more of the "which is better" options, which may make some patients anxious. This way, the patient feels more at ease and less like they are taking a test and answering the "wrong" way. The doctor is also able to evaluate differences in day and night vision that may require different corrective needs to avoid things such as glares and halos around lights. Optical measurements like this allow for an accurate, personalized prescription that will optimize your vision.

Clarifye is also an important assessment for overall eye health. As we age, our eyes may be at a greater risk for problems such as cataracts, glaucoma, and other issues. Using this technology, the doctor can let the patient see how vision could be affected in the future if these issues progress and are left untreated.

Healthy eyes are our greatest priority at Dr. David A. McQueen and Associates. Schedule an appointment to experience a Clarifye exam today!
